IE University CEO Diego del Alcázar Benjumea speaks on the importance of the humanities

Diego del Alcázar Benjumea, CEO of IE University, spoke to the importance of the humanities as a pillar of the modern education landscape at the IE Tower Inauguration event on Tuesday, October 19th, 2021. 

¨We need to embrace the humanities in all that we do. Literature, arts, philosophy, history or poetry make our societies flourish. They not only provide an extremely valuable cultural background, but they also teach us how to think and communicate. As Aristotle said, ´Educating the mind without educating the heart is not education at all.´¨
