Arts & Humanities Week: Guided visit to Juan Ferrete’s slow photography exhibition

Visit to Juan Ferrete’s exhibition Entre luces y sombras which will be guided by the artist himself and Sara Zaldivar of the Huntress of Art.

Like the pioneers of the art of photography, the artist Juan Ferrete has put on the suit of a chemist, alchemist and craftsman to materialize ‘Between lights and shadows (Entre luces y sombras)’, on exhibition at La Alhóndiga in Segovia.

This industrial engineer and high school teacher from the province of Alicante explores the photographic techniques of the 19th century, so that the 56 works he shows in Segovia he has made without cameras and instead with handcrafted prints.
