Archaeology Summer Camp for our students in the Celtiberian-Roman city of Tiermes

Last week, the IE Archaeology Unit, the Antiquity and Middle Ages Research Center and the Arts and Humanities Division organized an Archaeology Summer Camp for our students in the Celtiberian-Roman city of Tiermes (Soria, Spain).
The participants learned about the scientific methodology and got to excavate on site to later analyze, classify and understand the findings in the lab. It was a beautiful journey to understand “change”. They also got to meet new friends and enjoy nature.
It was a very hands on experience away from digital screens and a nice way to close this challenging academic year!
Thank you professors Miguel Larrañaga, Olivia Reyes and Pablo Arribas for making this possible!
