¨Archaeolympics¨ competition with Humanities course in Archaeology
Last week, the Humanities course in Archaeology stepped outside the classroom for a fun morning of hands-on learning.
Participants in the ¨Archaeolympics¨ competed in 3 challenges: a Roman game (Trigon), javelin throw, and archery. In doing so, students experienced first-hand the use of objects found in excavations.
Many thanks to the team at the IE Antiquity & Middle Ages Research Center for this initiative.
